Facial Surgery to Rejuvenate Your Face
Your face is the first place on your body that shows age. As the face ages, it loses the structural support and the muscle, ligaments and fat pads get lax and become tired, contributing to an older, tired appearance.

To turn back the clock for a fresher, more youthful-appearing face with a facial surgery procedure, you need a surgeon like Dr. Ennis who understands the structural support of the face coupled with an artistic eye for creating beautiful results that are both subtle and natural-looking. Dr. Ennis has won national art shows, including the U.S. Congressional Art Competition, which displayed his art work in the Cannon Tunnel of the Capital Building in Washington DC for a full year. Dr. Ennis uses this same artistic talent to assess the aging process in the face, and he also understands the structural issues that need to be addressed. This allows him to achieve a very natural youthful look while avoiding the pulled look of older style facelifts.
Dr. Ennis offers his patients the following facial surgical procedures:
Brow lift. The brow descends during the aging process, creating a heavy, tired look for the face. Dr. Ennis uses the latest technology and surgical methods in his brow lift surgery to lift the forehead and brow, resetting them to a lifted and more youthful position that creates an effect that is both refreshed and natural-looking.
Dr. Ennis performs the brow lift through four tiny incision in the hair line so there is no scar on the face. This avoids the large old-fashioned scar across the scalp or in front of the hairline that can be very visible, especially when the hair is wet.
Eyelid Surgery (Upper or Lower Blepharoplasty)
Dr. Ennis’ eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, can be performed on the upper or lower eyelids, or both. Upper blepharoplasty fixes drooping upper eyelids by removing excess skin from the upper lid. It is important to know the difference in a brow lift and an upper eyelid surgery and which you might need. These are explained in detail below, as it can be confusing as to whether a patient needs a brow lift or an upper blepharoplasty.
Lower Blepharoplasty
Lower blepharoplasty fixes under-eye bags by removing the fat pads under the eyes and tightening the muscles in the area. It is important that the cheek pad be lifted at the same time to ensure a youthful appearing lower lid. The lower lid and the cheek pad are intimately associated in the midface and must be addressed together. These surgical procedures fix lower eyelid and midface issues that occur as we age, for a youthful, rested look.
Face lift
A face lift only applies to the lower third of the face and neck, correcting facial muscles, ligaments and fat pads of the face that have lost their elasticity with age and started to droop or fall. In this procedure, Dr. Ennis tightens the support structures of the face and then very gently lays the skin back down over the muscles and ligaments that have been tightened up, achieving a very natural look that doesn’t look pulled! In fact, the results are so beautiful and natural-looking that some of his patients have referred to this as the Artist Lift.
Buccal Fat Pad Removal
Buccal fat pads are fat pads that sit high in the cheek and in front of the ear, and give the face a full, youthful appearance. As we age, these pads descend lower on the face and create jowls or may give the appearance that someone has walnuts in their cheeks (or “chipmunk cheeks”). Dr. Ennis provides his buccal fat pad removal procedure to remove these fat pads to help with the jowls and create a more defined jaw line. And since this surgery involves an incision made on the inside of the mouth, it results in no external scar on the face.
